Burren
Junction Public School is a great school 90 km west of Narrabri in New
South Wales.
Many of our
students live on working farms and have cotton, wheat, chick peas,
wool, sorghum, sheep and cattle.
Some of the
students in our school travel for an hour or more just to get to school.
The travelling time during wet weather usually doubles, that's if kids
can get to school at all.
(This is why one of our links is to Wet Weather Activities).
After school,
some students enjoy horse riding, pig chasing, mustering cattle,
fishing and yabbie hunting.
Our students also play team sports such as netball, tennis, rugby
union, rugby league, swimming and soccer on weekends.
